I'm not a coder, or a front-end or back-end developer, but i can relate to them very well. And if I talk with them, it always surprises me that they're using tools like Notepad as their main utility. Some use tools like Sublime, but it's always some bare bones text only solution. Why, baffles me.
I guess that with features like code completion, versioning, coloring, indenting, and many more, I'd at least pick up Dreamweaver to edit my HTML, CSS, and Javascripts.
The design features are probably a slap in the face to a true coder, though. And these ambitions sure had a bumpy ride through the best part of more than two decades. So that's a weaker spot, I guess.
But all in all, it's not a bad tool. It just has a bad stigma.
