Hmm... I guess by using the Quit command and quickly go to Illustrator.

If you have to work in Photoshop, then at least leave your shape and text layers separate, don't merge them with others or flatten the whole file, and save it as a Photoshop PDF. This will keep text and shape layers as vector based elements.
