I don't know Inkscape by using, but I do know two key differences:

1. Inkscape is a vector-based application (like Adobe Illustrator) wile Adobe Photoshop is mainly a pixel-basedapplication. So they operate in different areas.
2. Inkscape is open source and free, while Photoshop is part of an Adobe subscription plan (in the Photography Bundle, or the whole Creative Cloud offering).
