When you count partially giving up your privacy as not free", then Wikipedia wins hands down. Many other tools and services are offered as a complimentary product, for which you probably pay something, indirectly. Or you're bombarded with ads and other tricky, tempting, and distracting stuff.

So when Wikipedia's plea for a donation pops up now and then, I'm gladly obliged to do so.
