What is wrong with the iPhone user interface?

Not much, except that Apple thinks too highly of their own services. So it can be difficult to hook up with alternatives (e.g. Google Maps in stead of Apple Maps) or to get rid of some services like Notifications, Siri, and Apple Music. When proper localisation or personalisation is either missing or flawed, then these services can get quite irritating...

Some of their services also rely too much on a correct operation of other services. E.g. AirDrop and Personal Hotspot, which can be a PITA if a connection is weak, a setting is incorrect, or a corrupted byte needs to be reset in some way. Nothing will give you a clue of what goes wrong (or right, the very next try...)

And sometimes I wonder: I have 4 Apple devices, with appr. 20 antennas and 5 protocols of wireless connection at my disposal, but I still can't get that simple PDFfile from my MacBook to iBooks on my iPad. (Not to mention the incredible fuss of getting a totally legit MP3 into my iPhone music library...)

But all in all, the iPhone's user interface is quite okay.
