But I had a crush for this local celebrity, for a couple of years: Dutch Mediaeval

It's a font which magically turns any message into a joyous story !

It sports organically shaped ends at its stems and serifs, it has funny hooks and bowls, and throws in some alternate glyphs with floral details. It looks classic (it was designed in 1912), but has proven to be timeless, an evergreen.

Too bad is doesn't offer a wide range of variations (the Italic is even a bit ugly), but I just adore its core Regular font and the accompanying Initials.
