Adobe software runs fine on any MacBook or decent Windows laptop. Just keep an eye on the minimum requirementsfor the hardware for every application you'd like to use, and be fair enough to yourself and the poor processors, when you're doing heavy lifting on a minimal capacity machine...

However, there's something to say for the ease of use and ruggedness of a MacBook, its fail-safe system, and proven durability. But don't rule out those hybrid Microsoft Surface Books, they perform very well, are built quite robust, and offer you a detachable touchscreen and tablet modus !
